Indiana’s ART sculpture, conceived in 1972, has been executed in a number of color combinations, and in sizes ranging from 12 to 144 inches. The 18-inch blue red ART has been exhibited in Art in Blue Blue in Art at The Columns, Seoul, South Korea February 17–April 25, 2009, and in Robert Indiana: Sculptures at Waddington Custot Galleries, London, October 3–November 10, 2012. A 144-inch version of the sculpture was exhibited in the IVème Biennale de Sculpture Monte-Carlo, April 10–September 30, 1993.
