. . in ’68 I was artist in residence in Aspen, Colorado. And of course the EN gets lost behind the 8 and gives me the chance to use ASP as sort of fun. I consider 8 too, since it is a double 4, a kind of dangerous, all devouring kind of—it’s a gluttonous, a gluttonous number. And here I use the Dutch spelling of Bowery which was appropriate because it used to be spelled that way.
