Description

Indiana viewed marble as one of the two noble materials, along with bronze, in the Western tradition of sculpture. This pink marble LOVE, the only one of Indiana's marble works with a tall pedestal, was exhibited in Robert Indiana: A Sculpture Retrospective, at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, June 16–September 23, 2018.
