Marilyn, Marilyn II is one of fifteen paintings by Robert Indiana that takes the actress Marilyn Monroe as its subject. The work was first exhibited in the exhibition Robert Indiana at Galerie Guy Pieters, Saint-Paul de Vence, France in September 2001. It was also included in Robert Indiana: To Russia with Love at the State Russian Museum, Saint Petersburg, Russia, April 7–June 7, 2016, and in Robert Indiana, at the Pinacoteca Comunale Casa Rusca, Locarno, Switzerland, April 9–August 13, 2017.
