A 50 1/2 by 50 1/2 diamond shaped blue painting with a yellow peace sign in a red circle. The ring around the peace sign is green with a yellow inner and outer outline. In it the work's title, "Why Oh Why Has Peace Fled," is painted in yellow letters. "Why Oh Why" appears on the top half, and "Has Peace Fled" appears on the bottom half. A small yellow circle has been painted to the side of each "why." Yellow rectangular bands of paint go from the outer edge of the circle to each corner of the triangle.
