Indiana's painting Cardinal Two (1966) was included in the exhibiiton Art for the Vice-President's House from Northeast Museums, the third exhibition of contemporary art organized by Joan Mondale. The work was on display at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York, for a week, and then at the residence of the vice president in Washington, D.C., from April 1979 to April 1980.
