Artists for CORE: Third Annual Art Exhibition and Sale

Indiana donated The Black Yield Brother III (1963–64) to the benefit exhibition Artists for CORE (Congress of Racial Equality): Third Annual Art Exhibition and Sale. He also donated works to CORE's benefit exhibitions the following two years; Mississippi (1965) to the Artists for CORE: Fourth Annual Exhibition and Sale, April 28–May 8, 1965, at Graham Gallery, New York, and The Black and White LOVE (1965) to Artists for CORE: Fifth Annual Art Exhibition and Sale by Leading American Artists for the Benefit of CORE Scholarship, Education and Defense Fund, April 27–May 7, 1966, at Grippi & Waddell Gallery, New York.
