Dial Y for Sculpture - Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Association - Exhibitions - Robert Indiana

Dial Y for Sculpture was a groundbreaking exhibition of contemporary sculpture. The show included the work of fifteen artists, ten of whom taped a brief comment on their work which visitors could listen to on telephones that Bell Telephone had installed in the gallery. Indiana was interviewed in his studio at Coenties Slip and spoke about Marine Works, which along with Gem was included in the exhibition.
