Indiana’s Law (1960–62) was included in Penthouse Exhibition: Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, curated by Campbell Wylly. The artist's work was shown in two other Penthouse exhibitions later that year: the painting The Great Reap (1961), in a show taking place October 8–November 11, and the drawing The American Hay Company (1962), in a show taking place November 11–December 16.
