Richard Stankiewicz, Robert Indiana: An Exhibition of Recent Sculptures and Paintings at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis was the first museum exhibition of Indiana’s work. Fourteen paintings and the construction Marine Works (1960–62) were shown. The exhibiiton traveled to the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, December 14, 1963–January 26, 1964.
