Indiana created two sculptural editions of Imperial LOVE, this 96 × 192 × 60 inch Cor-Ten steel version, and a 54 3/8 x 98 x 32 inch (including base) polychrome aluminum one. The Cor-Ten Imperial LOVE was displayed in cities throughout Spain and Portugal between 2006–2008, in Milan during the 2008 exhibition Robert Indiana a Milano, and was most recently on display in Robert Indiana: Sculpture 1958–2018 at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. In 2015 an Imperial LOVE was acquired by the Nationalgalerie Berlin.
